Norway’s clean energy agency Enova has backed the project with about NOK 30 millions. Close cooperation between Rødne and local power company Lyse brought about support from Enova for an electric fast ferry and charging station in downtown Stavanger. The Port of Stavanger now proudly hosts one of the world’s first and the fastest battery-only express ferries and its charging station.
Certified for 297 passengers. Top speed of 19,9 knots (37 kph). Modern catamaran. Spacious comfortable cabin with panoramic windows and a kiosk on the same level. Wheelchair friendly. Ample deck space.
