Lysefjord sightseeing

This sightseeing tour takes 3 hours, with the famous Pulpit Rock in the starring role – and a impressive supporting cast of waterfalls, idyllic islands and magnificient scenery. On board our comfortable sightseeing boats there are sun deck and kiosk. Guiding in several languages. Departures from Skagenkaien in Stavanger.

January – April and October – December*
Wednesday – Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
Easter 30 March – 6 April at 11:00 a.m.
(No departure on 23 – 25 December and 1 January).

1 – 14 May and 16 – 30 September
Daily at 11:00 a.m.

15 May – 15 September
Daily at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (No departure on 17 May).

July and August
Extra departure Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
at 12:00 p.m.

* There must be a minimum of 15 passengers for the boat to depart.

Prices 2015:

  • Adults NOK 450,-
  • Children (4 – 15) NOK 280,- Free if under 4 years
  • Family tickets NOK 1200,- 2 adults + up to 4 children

CATEGORIES OF TICKETS FOR THE LYSEFJORD SIGHTSEEING

Children: Discount for children from 4 to 15 years old. Children under 4 years old travels for free if accompanied by their parents. Even though children travel for free they need a seat reservation!

Family ticket: Includes 2 adults and up to 4 children.

Group: If 15 adults or more travel and pay their ticket together, a 15% discount is given. Discounted tickets can not be combined with other discounts.

Blind people with an accompanier: Deafblind persons can bring an accompanier for free.
