Where can I find the boat in Bergen?
The boat departs from Zachariasbryggen next to the Fish Market. Please see a map of departure point here. It takes approximately 10-20 minutes to walk from where the cruise ship docks to our departure point.
How long is the journey?
The morning tour takes 3 hours, the afternoon tour – 3.5 hours before the boat is back in Bergen. The afternoon tour includes an extra stop at Heskjedal waterfall and a tour arround Osterøy. Please see a map of the tour here.
Where can I buy tickets?
To be guaranteed availability, you should pre-book tickets at www.rodne.no. You can also buy tickets at the Tourist Information in Bergen or at Zachariasbryggen before departure.
Is it possible to get a discount?
Under ticket categories you can find all available tickets for this tour, also the ones with a discount included. Bergen card gives you 20 % discount on adult- and children’s ticket. For more information about the ticket categories, please see here.
How can I pay?
You can pay for your ticket or beverages with NOK or cards. We accept all cards except American Express.
Is my ticket for a specific seat on board?
No, there are not numbered seats on board, so you can sit on which available seat you want. There are one seat for every passenger inside, and you can also go out to stand on deck.
What do I have to bring with me on board?
Please bring your booking confirmation and show this to the crew on board. The booking confirmation is your ticket.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs can be brought on the boat. If there are passengers with allergies on board, the dog will have to stay out on the sun deck.
Is it possible to buy snacks/beverages on board?
There is a kiosk on board where you can buy hot dogs, soft drinks, coffee/tea, chocolate and more. We have an alcohol license on board, and we have beer and wine for sale in the kiosk. Brought food and drinks are not allowed.
Is the boat suitable for strollers/wheelchairs?
The boat is suitable for strollers/wheelchairs. Max. 1 electric wheelchair at a time. When there are passengers with manual wheelchairs, we will move them over to regular seats when this is possible.
Are there toilets on board the boat?
There are toilets on board all of our boats, also toilet that are suitable for wheelchair.
Where can I park my car in Bergen?
There is a parking garage next to Scandic Neptun Hotell. From there, it takes approximately 3-5 minutes to walk to Zachariasbryggen.
